Tierarztpraxis Papenhorst is a family-run mixed practice in Edemissen-Alvesse led by Dr. Jörg Heide. It treats horses, pigs including mini pigs, and large and small ruminants alongside companion animals, and holds a dedicated consultation hour for equines. Diagnostic capability includes digital radiography, echocardiography with ECG and colour-doppler ultrasound, supporting lameness work-ups, ophthalmology and pre-purchase examinations with written reports. Surgical work covers trauma surgery, castration, obstetrics and caesarean section, and the practice also offers dentistry, herd management and breeding advice. A 24-hour emergency service is available.
