Tierarztpraxis Otterndorf is a mixed practice in the Cuxhaven district run as a partnership by Dr. Burgmann, Dr. Reinert and Dr. Brandenburger. The large-animal side treats horses, cattle and small cloven-hoofed animals, with vaccination programmes and internal medicine offered for horses. Seven veterinarians work at the practice, supported by assistants trained in physiotherapy and anaesthesia. Facilities include operating theatres, an in-house laboratory and radiography, and the practice runs an out-of-hours emergency service.
