Tierarztpraxis Emsdiek in Oldersum, Moormerland, describes itself as a mixed practice by conviction, caring for pets and grazing animals alike — cattle, horses, sheep and New World camelids. The equine service covers preventive herd management with vaccinations, parasite control and advice on housing and feeding, internal medicine including colic, respiratory, endocrine and eye conditions, and both surgical and conservative treatment such as wound care, castrations, laminitis therapy and hoof abscesses. The practice is run as a partnership by Ludwig Koch and Frederick Schuchmann and offers surgery and acute care from its own premises. Consulting hours run Monday to Friday.
