Tierarztpraxis Emsbüren is a mixed practice in the Emsland district running both a small-animal clinic and a large-animal department. The equine service covers vaccinations — including the certificates required for competition entry — parasite control and treatment, clinical examinations and castrations, with referral to a specialist equine clinic for advanced imaging. The large-animal side also looks after cattle, pigs and poultry, while small animals and exotics are seen in-house with radiography, ultrasound, electrosurgery and anaesthesia. The practice keeps its own pharmacy and laboratory and operates an on-call service.
