Dr. Uwe Petermann runs a veterinary practice for laser acupuncture and laser therapy in horses and dogs, based in Melle-Neuenkirchen. Treatment is built around RAC-controlled diagnostics, local laser therapy, auricular medicine, interference-field diagnosis and gold implantation in acupuncture points. The equine side of the practice applies these methods to movement disorders, chronic conditions and behavioural problems. Dr. Petermann is a past president of the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society.
