Femke Héylen is a Belgian veterinarian for horses who combines conventional veterinary medicine with natural therapies. She offers first-line horse care including vaccinations, dental checks, health check-ups, faecal testing and worming plans, blood tests, wound care and pre-purchase exams. Her holistic treatments include (electro)acupuncture, herbal medicine, leech therapy and nutrition advice. She trained in veterinary medicine at Ghent University with a horse specialisation and in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.
