Tierarztpraxis Dr. Holzhausen is a mixed large- and small-animal practice at Linsburg in the Nienburg/Weser district, led by Dr. Lars Holzhausen. Equine work includes ambulatory examination and treatment at the yard, vaccinations, blood sampling, pregnancy checks, dental treatment, equine passports and pre-purchase examinations. The large-animal side also covers herd health management for cattle and pigs, farmed deer, meat inspection, trichina sampling for wild boar and the licensed nationwide use of a tranquiliser rifle.
