DENTHORSE

DENT HORSE is the mobile equine dental practice of Stephanie Schröer, covering the Weser-Ems region from a base in Meppen. Many owners are unaware that a horse's teeth, like its feet, need regular checks and care, so the practice concentrates on routine examination, early recognition of problems and professional treatment. Water-cooled instruments are used to avoid heat damage to the tooth and surrounding tissue, and horses are normally treated under sedation. Because the practice travels to the horse, treatment happens in familiar surroundings; Stephanie also gives talks and workshops on equine dental health.
