Jack's Livery Stable offers horse-and-buggy tours on Mackinac Island, with routes that are planned in advance and explained by staff before departure. Each route, from a one-hour interior drive to a full tour of about two and a half hours, is run with the horse setting its own pace. The stable also offers saddle horse riding from May to Labor Day, with riders matched to a horse suited to their skill level. Buggy reservations are taken by phone up to one day in advance, and saddle horse reservations are same-day and in person.
