Sabien Verheijen trains horses together with their owners, working from a holistic view that centres on welfare, connection and cooperation. The training follows the method of Kelly de Geus, built on four aspects: regulation, connection, communication and use of the body. Work starts from the ground, in freedom or as in-hand dressage training, and moves under saddle once the basis is in place. Sabien prefers longer-term cooperation rather than single lessons.
