Pferdeerleben is the training and coaching practice of Mareike Allers, based at Osterholz-Scharmbeck in Lower Saxony. Ground work sessions teach owners to read their horse's body language and refine their own, laying the groundwork for ridden work. Riding lessons focus on finer aids and conscious use of the rider's body so that horse and rider move together. Horse training and backing cover everything from basic education to correcting problem behaviour, for young horses, sensitive characters and horses coming back into work — depending on distance and intensity she travels to the client or takes the horse in at a quiet yard.
