The Achal Tekkiner Züchter und Freunde e. V. Deutschland is a German breeding association founded in 1974 dedicated to promoting and preserving the Akhal-Teke, one of the world's oldest and most distinctive horse breeds. It was the first Akhal-Teke club to be established outside the former Soviet Union and today supports breeders, owners, and enthusiasts across Germany and Europe. The association maintains breeding registries, organises sporting events and competitions, publishes educational materials, and provides a breeder directory and sales listings for Akhal-Teke horses. Members receive expert guidance on breeding, care, and training for this exceptional breed.
