Edinburgh University Exmoor Pony Trekking is a student-led non-profit society that cares for a herd of 10 Exmoor ponies. It runs horse riding treks for students and the public, for all riding abilities. From September to May treks start at Swanston in the Pentland Hills, and in summer they run in the Ochil Hills from Glendevon. Riders can help care for their pony before and after the trek.
Eilean Equestrian is a riding centre at Lettermore Farm on the Isle of Mull, Scotland. It offers riding lessons for all ages and abilities and scenic trail rides. A riding holiday is also offered.
Nevis Equestrian Centre offers horseback rides on Nevis in St Kitts & Nevis. Rides include beach and trail rides through villages and swimming with horses. It specialises in family group rides and has operated since 1996.
HG Equestrian is run by Hannah Goodby-Dudgeon, a freelance riding instructor on the Isle of Man. She travels island-wide to give lessons to riders of all ages and abilities. She also competes and has coached for 18 years.
Narrow Water Stud & Equestrian Centre is on the Narrow Water Castle estate near Warrenpoint, owned by Michael Boyd. It offers lessons from lead rein to advanced, part, full and competition livery, and carriage driving lessons. Facilities include floodlit arenas, 22 stables and forest hacking.
Tullymurry Equestrian Centre near Downpatrick offers riding lessons for children from six, adult beginners and competition riders. It has a cross country course and hosts events and qualifiers.
SeaHorse Polo & Beach Rides at Tyrella near Downpatrick was set up in 2017 by Mary Minarikova and Jamie McCarthy. It offers beach rides and polo for groups and individuals on safe ponies.
Bonagrew Stables near Brittas Bay, Co. Wicklow, is a riding school and livery yard. It offers livery with daily turnout on 36 acres and a floodlit all-weather arena. The riding school is temporarily closed after flood damage.
Walcot Stables is a small riding school on the Walcot Hall Estate in South Shropshire, established in 2004. It offers private and small group lessons for adults and children from four, and hacks.
Courses for Horses is a BHS approved riding and training centre at Lower Stonehouse Farm near Stoke-on-Trent. It offers lessons for novice to experienced riders, own horse lessons, confidence coaching, SEN provision and BHS training.
Lios Lara Riding Stables is on the Beara Peninsula. It offers private and group riding lessons, pony camps, pony parties, trekking on the Beara Bridleway and livery.
Crindle Stables near Limavady is a family run equestrian centre. It offers group and private riding lessons, adult lessons, toddler and SEN sessions, beach rides and countryside treks. It also runs seasonal activities and parties.
Écurie St-Éleuthère in Blandain, Belgium, is an approved pony club. It offers riding lessons and holiday riding courses taught by ADEPS qualified instructors, rides and livery. It also organises riding certificate sessions.
V&C Equestrian in West Linton offers part, full and assisted livery, competitions, events, competition preparation and pony parties. It provides riding lessons and horses for share in Balerno. It was named Horse Scotland's Club of the Year 2024.
Gordon Group Riding for the Disabled Association and Inverurie Therapy Pony Centre is a volunteer-based charity. It runs RDA ridden sessions Monday to Thursday, equine facilitated learning with therapy ponies and pony care courses. It serves people with physical, intellectual or mental health challenges.
Holly Bush Stables is a family-run children's riding centre and livery yard in Byfleet, Surrey with a 5* licence. It offers riding lessons, Pony Club, pony parties, full and part livery and equine therapy. Facilities include a sand school and jumping paddock.
Thanet Disabled Riding Centre is a non-profit in Broadstairs that has run for 47 years. With volunteers and four ponies it caters for about 40 riders a week with disabilities. Sessions are mainly therapy based, working alongside physiotherapists, and include hacking.
Asti Equestrian is a family-run equestrian centre in Goosey in the Vale of the White Horse. It offers riding tuition, pony parties, Pony Club, camps and livery. It has an on-site master saddler and a saddlery shop open seven days a week, and runs dressage competitions.
Tanglewood Equestrian Centre is a small riding school in Colden Common. It offers riding lessons for children and adults with qualified trainers, grouping riders by ability. It also lists livery and fun activities.
Pevlings Farm Riding & Livery Stables in Horsington, Somerset was established in 1985. It offers group and individual riding lessons aimed at leisure riders of all ages. It also provides DIY livery with optional assistance and has floodlit arenas and cross country fences.
Alton Piece is a small family-run riding school near the Wyre Forest in Worcestershire. It offers private and small group lessons for children from age five and adults, with BHS qualified instruction. It also runs school holiday courses, stable management sessions and pony parties.
Derryham Stables in Bailieborough, Co. Cavan, is an AIRE approved yard run by Nicola Clarke. It offers group and private lessons, hacking, pony camps and parties, livery and therapeutic riding.
City of Derry Farm & Equestrian Centre is a fourth-generation family farm in the Faughan Valley outside Derry-Londonderry. It offers riding lessons for children and adults, trail rides and Pony Club activities. It also runs equine assisted wellbeing programmes led by a trained practitioner. Riding holidays with farmhouse accommodation are available.
Moorlands Equestrian Centre in Drumshanbo, County Leitrim, was established in 1993 by the McManus family on the shores of Lough Allen. It is an AIRE approved riding centre offering lessons with qualified instructors, livery and pony club.
