Sand Valley Ranch is a natural horsemanship riding school in Chaswood, Nova Scotia, serving riders from Halifax, Truro and the surrounding area. It gives private and small-group Western riding lessons for children, teens and adults, from beginner to advanced, including Western show preparation. Each one-hour lesson covers grooming, tacking, groundwork, riding and basic stable management. The ranch also offers horse boarding with arena and trail access, small group trail rides, horse hauling and pony ride birthday parties.
