SAGA-Reitschule Einzelberg is one of nine SAGA riding schools in Germany, run by Gisela and Jens Heckmann on the edge of Groß Schneen, about 8 km south of Göttingen. The yard specialises in Icelandic horses, which live in a shared open stable and go out on the pastures next to the farm whenever possible; horses of other breeds are kept in outdoor boxes, also with group turnout. Facilities include two indoor arenas and an outdoor school, and the hacking country starts directly at the gate. Riding lessons are given daily, alongside trail rides, clinics and children's and youth riding holidays throughout the year. Livery places for boarders are offered in several different housing systems.
