I. Stable note
In their own words.
Rock Island Ranch is a youth equestrian program run by its founder, Martha Henderson. It offers horse riding lessons, including private lessons for beginners and children from preschool age. The lessons follow a curriculum based on natural horsemanship and the AQHA Junior Master Horseman program. The ranch also runs mini clinics where young riders learn about horse care, including visits from a vet, an equine chiropractor and a farrier.
