Reitstall Wakonig is a family-run riding stable in Maria Rain, about 4 km south of Klagenfurt, managed by Markus Wakonig. It offers riding for beginners, leisure riders and ambitious competition riders, using its own school horses. Riding pedagogy is offered for young children from age 3. Markus Wakonig is also a farrier, and the stable is a training business for Pferdewirte (equine management apprentices).
