Reit- und Ponyhof Rittmarshausen

Reit- und Ponyhof Rittmarshausen is a family-run riding school between Göttingen and Duderstadt, recognised as an approved riding establishment by the German Equestrian Federation (FN). Ten school horses and ponies carry pupils from the Reitkindergarten at age four, through lunge lessons from age six, into small group lessons of four riders arranged by age and experience. Lessons mix dressage, jumping and cross-country work with pony games, quadrille riding and agility courses, and adult beginners and returning riders are taught individually. The yard has an indoor arena, two outdoor arenas including one of 1,500 sqm, direct access to fields and forest for hacking, a heated riders' room and a tack room. It runs an annual riding festival and regular riding-badge courses.
