Ponyhof Gerdes is a pony and holiday farm at Oberlangen in the Emsland, run by Jürgen Gerdes for children and teenagers. Riding is the centre of a stay: lessons on ponies and horses, with or without a saddle, and guided hacks out from the yard. The farm has three outdoor arenas and two indoor schools, so riding carries on whatever the weather. Guests also help around the yard with its donkeys, goats, alpacas and rabbits, and ponies bred there are sometimes offered for sale.
