Ponycollege is a small riding school for children aged roughly four to nine, working from the Bassener Bruchwiesen at Oyten near Bremen. Its teaching combines riding with horsemanship — how to read, handle and care for a pony fairly and calmly — rather than riding alone. Programmes include pony courses, holiday camps and combined courses for parents and children. A small herd of experienced schoolmaster ponies is kept in a natural, outdoor-focused setting.
