12 Mile Stables offers riding lessons for everyone, including introductory horsemanship lessons for ages 7 to 99 and lessons for young children. The business also offers horse rentals, day camps, hay rides and horse boarding. It is part of the Kodiak Ranch family and presents itself as the official stable of Cherry Creek State Park. Its sister location, Big Horn Stables, also offers trail rides and horse boarding.
