St. Georg Gesellschaft der Pferdefreunde Gifhorn e.V., known locally as Sankt Georg Winkel, is a riding club founded in 1957 in the Winkel district of Gifhorn. It teaches riders of every age and level, from lunge lessons for beginners through dressage, jumping and hacking out, using well-schooled club horses and ponies. Facilities include an indoor arena, an outdoor and jumping arena and riding terrain. The club also runs clinics, riding-badge examinations, youth work and its own competitions.
