Reiterverein Horneburg is a riding club in the Altes Land near Stade, founded in 1922 and a member of the Kreisverband Stader Altländer Reitervereine. The club runs its own riding facility with school horses and qualified instructors, so members without their own horse can learn to ride. Its programme covers riding, vaulting, a horse-familiarisation group for newcomers and regular Reitabzeichen badge courses. An active youth team organises events and activities for younger members. The club also hosts its own summer show and a long-standing calendar of club events.
