Hufpflege Ottensmann is the hoof-care practice of Ralf Ottensmann in Gilten (Norddrebber), Lower Saxony. He specialises in barefoot hoof work and in advising owners who want to take their horse out of shoes, including a gentle staged transition and shoe removal. Every appointment includes a gait assessment at halt, walk and trot before and after the trim. Glue-on shoes are fitted where needed, and he works alongside vets, physiotherapists and other specialists.
