Gesunde Pferde is run by Julia Jachs, a trained hoof orthopaedist and horse trainer based in Steyr who works across Upper and Lower Austria. She trims hooves and supports owners switching their horses from shoes to barefoot, and runs seminars on barefoot hoof care. Her horse training uses positive reinforcement and covers groundwork, riding and medical and husbandry training. She also offers some dog training.
