Nice & Quiet is a reining horse breeding and training operation run by Lena Marie Nordhausen at Helvesiek in Lower Saxony. The yard breeds from its own broodmares and raises youngstock with reining performance in mind. Weanlings, yearlings, two- and three-year-olds and older horses are offered for sale. Green Meadows Ranch is a small American Quarter Horse breeding operation at Wiersdorf near Heeslingen, midway between Hamburg and Bremen. Founded in 2006 and on its own farm since 2011, the ranch stands two of its own stallions and keeps seven to ten broodmares tracing to well-known western performance lines. Since May 2024 it has been a state-approved covering and artificial insemination station for Quarter Horses in Lower Saxony. Palomino-Farm is a western riding centre and Quarter Horse stud between Bremen and Bremerhaven, in operation for more than forty years and one of the longest-established western yards in Germany. Owner and trainer Torsten Köhn, who trained in the United States, breeds and schools Quarter Horses and Paint Horses that have made a name for themselves in Germany and across Europe. The farm trains client horses in all western disciplines and teaches riders from beginners and leisure riders through to competitors. Gestüt Kastanienhof is a pony stud at Sage-Haast near Großenkneten in Lower Saxony, run by Julia and Timo Coldewey and breeding ponies since 1968. El Thayeba is a straight Egyptian Arabian stud at Großenkneten in Lower Saxony, breeding without interruption since 1971. Der Gulfhof is a family-run horse breeding farm in the middle of East Frisia, about 30 km from the North Sea coast, trading as Pferdezucht Köhne/Wolfert. Built around a historic Gulfhaus farmstead, it breeds Hanoverian and Oldenburg sport horses with a particular focus on show jumpers out of performance-tested mare lines. The yard has video-monitored foaling boxes, a small training hall, a lunging ring and a floodlit outdoor arena, and the horses live on six hectares of pasture plus summer marsh grazing on the coast. Classic Pony Borrmann is a small Classic Pony stud based at Gut Ohlhof in Goslar in the Harz foothills. Anne Borrmann bought her first Classic Pony in 2011, added her first broodmare a year later and bred her first home-bred foal the year after that. The stud keeps a small band of broodmares, each presented individually with her produce. The ponies are ridden by the children of the estate and driven in harness by Anne Borrmann, who holds a driving proficiency badge, and youngstock is offered for sale.

The yard describes its approach as natural, appropriate to the horse and honest, with individual care for riding horses, broodmares and foals.
