Maenan Stud is a small family-run stud in Cheltenham breeding Welsh Ponies of Cob type (Section C) and Welsh Mountain Ponies (Section A). It aims to produce show quality ponies for exhibition and sale. It has been dispersing most of its Section A ponies.
Fairoak Grange at Ashford Hill, Berkshire is a dressage training, livery, stud and competition centre run by Lindsey and Melissa Dawes. Lindsey is a BD accredited UKCC level 3 trainer and list 2 judge. Facilities include an indoor arena, two outdoor schools and 33 acres of paddocks. It runs affiliated and unaffiliated dressage competitions and clinics.
Oakleaze Farm is a BHS approved livery yard on the outskirts of Bristol, run by Sue and Gerald Rich since 1989. It offers flexible livery packages, holiday livery and rehabilitation with vet approval. It stands Arab stallions and breeds and produces its own endurance horses. An equine sports therapist works on site.
Dyfed Shire Horse Farm is a visitor attraction on a working family farm in Pembrokeshire. Shire horses have been bred on the farm since 1981. Several of its horses have become drum horses with the Household Cavalry. The farm opens to visitors from March to October and also has a campsite.
San Cler Gypsy Cobs is a small stud at Blewgyd Farm, St Clears, on the Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire border. It specialises in breeding Palomino, Buckskin, Silver Dapple and Blagdon traditional Gypsy Cobs. It is run by Judith Hussell.
The Pennal Stud breeds Welsh Cobs for type, temperament and movement. It was founded in 1958 by William Harris and is now run by his son David Harris, a breeder and judge of Welsh Cobs. It stands Section D stallions.
The Suffolk Punch Trust is a charity that breeds Suffolk Punch horses to preserve the breed. Its Colony Stud offers stallion services and livery to horse owners. The Trust also educates the public and holds open days, though it is currently closed for general visits.
Abergavenny Cobs is a Welsh Cob stud near Abergavenny founded in 1980. It stands two Welsh Cob stallions at public stud and keeps around twenty mares on a breeding plan. Its cobs have won at the Royal Welsh and other shows.
Alvescot Stud is a family-run stud founded in 1981 on the edge of the Cotswolds, on 360 acres of organic grassland. It stands the stallion Flashpoint and offers services for mare owners. It sells homebred youngstock of all ages.
Erw-Wastad Stud breeds Welsh Section A and Section C ponies. Its foundation mare was bought in 1991 and shown with success at Welsh shows. The site lists foals by year and ponies for sale, and the farm also keeps a Lleyn sheep flock.
Wodehouse Stud & Equestrian Centre is a family-run business on the outskirts of Norwich. It breeds, sources and produces sport horses. It offers a range of livery options, including competition and sales livery.
Stourbank Stud is a small private stud of about 35 acres on the Shotley Peninsula near Ipswich, Suffolk. It is run by Peter and Patricia Veenbaas. The stud breeds horses from its own mares and lists horses for sale.
UK Hanoverians is a stud in West Sussex standing Hanoverian stallions including Kaiserdom TSF. It offers breeding services from inseminating visiting mares to dispatching chilled semen within the UK. Livery packages include running on foals and managing youngsters. Suzanne teaches liveries and clients who bring their own horses.

Hazelwood Bloodstock is a Newmarket stud providing permanent and seasonal boarding for Thoroughbred broodmares and young stock. It was set up in 2016 by Adrian and Philippa O'Brien. Philippa is the resident veterinarian and provides routine veterinary care.
