Islandpferdehof Goldgrund is a small Icelandic-horse stud and boarding yard at Gilten, roughly 30 km from Hanover on the edge of the Südheide. Michaela Laufs breeds Icelandic horses with her own breeding stallion and a group of broodmares, all kept on large, sparse sandy pastures. Alongside the breeding operation the farm offers Pferdepension boarding places for outside horses. Visits and viewings are arranged by appointment.
