Islandpferde Holterdorf in Melle (Lower Saxony) is an Icelandic horse operation run by certified master horsewoman (Pferdewirtschaftsmeisterin) Kathrin Strakeljahn. The yard specialises in the breeding and careful training of Icelandic horses, with particular focus on young-horse education and movement training. Services include horse boarding (Pension), professional starting and schooling of horses (Beritt), riding instruction as an IPZV trainer, and occasional horse sales. The emphasis throughout is on correct horsemanship and high standards of animal welfare.
