Haupt- und Landgestüt Marbach is one of the oldest state studs in the world, founded in 1573 and set in the Swabian Alb of Baden-Württemberg. It breeds and keeps stallions — including its renowned Arabians and warmbloods — and offers breeding and insemination services, stallion performance testing, training and public events. Managed sustainably by the state of Baden-Württemberg, it is a landmark of German horse breeding and open to visitors year-round.
