Gut Neuensteden is a breeding and training yard at Freiburg an der Elbe, set on a listed thatched half-timbered courtyard farm whose origins reach back to the seventeenth century. Hanoverian horses have been bred here in the Kehdingen region for more than three hundred years, and the yard today produces Hanoverian and Oldenburg sport horses alongside a pony breeding programme. Mares are selected for sound character, health and willingness, and foals grow up on wide pastures at the Elbe estuary. Young horses are handled from foalhood and then brought on quietly through their basic training, with homebred horses offered for sale.
