Der Gulfhof

Der Gulfhof is a family-run horse breeding farm in the middle of East Frisia, about 30 km from the North Sea coast, trading as Pferdezucht Köhne/Wolfert. Built around a historic Gulfhaus farmstead, it breeds Hanoverian and Oldenburg sport horses with a particular focus on show jumpers out of performance-tested mare lines. The yard has video-monitored foaling boxes, a small training hall, a lunging ring and a floodlit outdoor arena, and the horses live on six hectares of pasture plus summer marsh grazing on the coast. Foals, young horses, riding horses and broodmares are offered for sale. Great emphasis is placed on temperament and rideability, with every foal handled daily and exposed to everyday stimuli from the start.
