I. Stable note
In their own words.
The Akhal-Teke Foundation runs a conservation breeding program for the Akhal-Teke, one of the world's oldest and rarest horse breeds. Its Akhal-Teke Center is a stud farm with active, selected reproduction of resident and leased purebred mares and stallions. The foundation currently supports 24 purebred horses and maintains a cryogenic archive that includes frozen semen and cell lines. It also runs programs to rescue at-risk purebred Akhal-Tekes and mentors a network of breeders across North America.
