The Horse’s Heartbeat offers Equine Assisted Therapy and Equine Assisted Learning for individuals, groups, couples and families. Sessions combine learning, counselling and psychotherapy with the horses and are offered for children, adolescents and adults. The business keeps a herd of five horses, including two miniature ponies and three larger horses. The sessions are led by a registered social worker who is trained in psychotherapy and certified in equine assisted learning.
