The SUNY Morrisville Equine Rehabilitation Center conditions healthy horses and helps injured equine athletes recover after injury or surgery. It sits on 103 acres in Morrisville, New York, with a 40,000-square-foot riding arena and stabling for 40 horses. Its modalities include an underwater treadmill, indoor swimming pool, cold saltwater spa, solariums, laser and ultrasound therapy, PEMF and therapeutic horseshoeing. Programmes are built with the horse’s veterinarian and can be in-patient or out-patient.
