Stride Alaska Therapeutic Riding offers therapeutic riding for children and adults with special needs. Services include clinics and extended therapeutic riding sessions, usually small group sessions of one hour per week for six weeks. Instructors are certified by PATH, EAGALA or CHA and consult with licensed medical and mental health providers. Each rider is assisted by trained volunteers, including a horse leader and side-walkers, at The Ridge Riding Facility in Wasilla, Alaska.
