Starke Pferde – starke Menschen e.V.

Starke Pferde – starke Menschen e.V. is a registered non-profit association based at Gut Birkenmoor in Schwedeneck near Kiel. It offers individual educational support with horses for people of all ages who face developmental delays, behavioural issues, psychological or intellectual diagnoses, or difficulties in everyday life or social contact. Sessions take place in the stable, on the riding arena and in the surrounding riding terrain, year-round apart from school holidays in Schleswig-Holstein. The association uses therapy ponies such as Amy and Herr Krause and also runs pony play groups. The horses receive regular balance training, plenty of space and pasture, and professional hoof care every six weeks.
