Stables 4 Jed is a grief therapy service in western Iowa that combines licensed mental health counseling with equine involvement. A licensed therapist and an equine professional work together in sessions, with interactions between the individual and the horse used alongside traditional counseling. The service focuses on grief from the loss of a loved one and has expanded to other losses such as divorce, job loss and financial loss.
