Stable Grounds offers equine-assisted therapy for students in Middlebury, Indiana. Mental health counseling is provided Monday through Friday during the school day by a certified mental health counselor, a certified clinical counselor, and a certified equine specialist. Sessions use horses and donkeys, with students working with the animals and then discussing what they bring to the barn. Students from kindergarten through 12th grade can receive counseling for issues such as anxiety, depression, anger, and grief.
