Sonrisas Trails is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing therapeutic horseback riding and equine-assisted activities to individuals with physical, emotional, and mental challenges. They offer a structured program focused on the physical benefits of riding and developing the rider-horse relationship. The organization serves clients of all ages, including those from local school districts, veterans, and community riders with disabilities. They are the only local therapeutic riding center serving this specific population and are funded by donations, fundraisers, and grants.
