I. Stable note
In their own words.
Saddles in Service is a non-profit that uses horses in equine-assisted healing for Veterans, Active-Duty Military and First Responders. Its work aims to combat suicide and promote mental health for these groups. The organization is based on an equestrian ranch in Alpine, California, where it keeps a herd of horses that are central to its programs. The founders began the mission in 2017 after purchasing the ranch in 2016.
