Rhythms of Grace is a volunteer-driven nonprofit that uses horses to serve children and adults with disabilities and special needs. Its services include horsemanship lessons with customized lesson plans, equine-assisted psychotherapy and learning offered by licensed therapists, and occupational therapy that incorporates horse movement. The programs take place at River Heights Ranch near Dallas Center, Iowa, which has outdoor and indoor arenas. The organization keeps a herd of horses for its programs.
