Reittherapie Helvesiek provides riding therapy, occupational-therapy early intervention with the horse, curative-education riding and riding lessons at Helvesiek in Lower Saxony. Its therapists are trained in both occupational therapy and riding therapy and work with children and adults on motor skills, self-confidence and emotional blocks. The horses are schooled specifically for therapy work and chosen for their calm, sensitive temperament. Sessions run on two weekday mornings and one Saturday a month and can be booked online, and a supporting association, Förderverein Reittherapie Helvesiek e.V., helps fund places for people with disabilities.
