Reins of Life provides therapeutic horseback riding for children and adults with disabilities. Its programs are equine-assisted therapy and include therapeutic carriage driving, interactive vaulting, and equine-facilitated psychotherapy. The organization runs two centers, in South Bend and Michigan City, Indiana. It has operated since 1978 and serves more than 450 people a month.
