Jana Schmälzle runs an equine rehabilitation yard in Krummhörn-Eilsum on the East Frisian North Sea coast. Horses come in for stays of at least three months to be treated for equine asthma, allergies, metabolic disorders and tendon injuries. The programme combines physiotherapy, acupuncture, dry needling, laser and magnetic-field therapy, kinesio taping, salt-chamber and mask inhalation and phytotherapeutic detoxification with an individual training plan. Owners get daily updates on their horse condition throughout the stay.
