Patapsco Equine offers equine bodywork for horses, with sessions of 60 to 90 minutes that combine massage, acupressure, stretching and myofascial release. The practitioner also works with Equine Hanna Somatics, a neuromuscular technique for horses. Each session starts with an evaluation of the horse standing, in hand and, if able, under saddle. Clients receive a summary of findings and recommended exercises and massage techniques to use between sessions. The service is aimed in particular at horses that need extra patience, including retired and anxious horses.
