Opal Counseling Center offers counseling and therapy for gifted, twice-exceptional, adopted and neurodivergent children, teens, adults and parents. Sessions take place in person on the farm alongside the horses, online, or as in-person intensives for families travelling from further away. The practice uses Equine Assisted Therapy as one of its interventions, alongside approaches such as Synergetic Play Therapy, Mindfulness Meditation and EMDR. Founder Catherine Mathon, LPC, works in Longmont, Colorado.
