The National Equine Institute of Growth through Healing (N.E.I.G.H.) is a non-profit providing equine-assisted services in a trauma-informed setting. It specialises in supporting veterans, first responders and their families, with suicide prevention central to its mission. Through hands-on work with horses, it offers confidential individual sessions, structured group experiences for departments and teams, and three-day wellness retreats. It was founded by Program Director Dawn Samuelson.
