mobile Pferdewaage is a travelling horse-weighing and body-condition-scoring service run by Arndt Denecke from Wegensen in southern Lower Saxony, covering Lower Saxony and Bremen. The scale is brought to the yard, so a horse can be weighed where it lives instead of being transported. Alongside the weight reading, the Body Condition Score method is used to grade fat cover and muscling across six body regions on a nine-point scale, which gives owners a repeatable figure to feed and train against.
