Mitey Riders provides therapeutic horseback riding for children with special needs in the Charlotte region of the Carolinas. Its mounted lessons teach riding skills using adaptive equipment and techniques, addressing physical, social and cognitive needs. Unmounted activities teach participants to care for the horses. Riding services are offered free of charge to riders.
